- This box grater is designed to grate, mince, and puree foods like garlic, ginger, daikon, etc and simultaneously collect the food. They are made of a solid piece of copper and coated in tin and the tines are gouged by hand through the use of special tools. The receptacle is designed to catch the food and excess liquid to dispose of or to mise. The tines can be brushed with a hake to clean the remnants and then rinsed with warm water and soap. Pat or air dry. Do not put in the dishwasher.
